Exam Schedule

When and where certification exams are administered

Pesticide Applicator Certification Exams are administered on Mondays (except holidays) around the state. You must have your Notice of Approval or Notice of Scores to be admitted. (Note:  Private Applicators only bring their ID and the $15 private applicator license fee; Public Applicators do not pay exam fees but must bring Notice of Approval or Notice of Scores and ID.)

  1. Call 575-646-2134 or email pesticides@nmda.nmsu.edu to sign up for a testing session 
  2. Print and bring your Notice of Approval or Notice of Scores with you
  3. Bring a valid photo ID
  4. Bring a check or money order for $10 per test
Always call to sign up for testing. The schedule is subject to change without notice when staff members have other responsibilities.

ALBUQUERQUE

Every Monday at the NMSU Albuquerque Center, 4501 Indian School Rd. NE, Suite 100 (between Carlisle and San Mateo). Call to find out what time.

LAS CRUCES

Every Monday at NMDA, 3190 S. Espina St., at 9 AM

ROSWELL

1st Monday of every month at the Public Library, 301 N. Pennsylvania, at 9 AM

FARMINGTON

2nd Monday of every month at the Public Library, 2101 Farmington, at 9 AM

HOBBS

3rd Monday of every month at the Hobbs Senior Center, 200 East Park, at 9 AM

CLOVIS

4th Monday of every month at the Public Library, 701 N. Main, at 10 AM
