Information for Workshop Sponsors
Agencies, associations and individuals can sponsor (host) a workshop for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Each workshop is approved on a case-by-case basis. For more detailed information on the requirements of a workshop go to NMDA's Pesticide Applicator Continuing Education Course Approval Guide.
To apply for CEUs for a workshop or course, send your complete application at least 15 days before the workshop date.
A complete application consists of:
- CEU Workshop Approval Application - Use this form if you want to apply for CEU credit for your workshop or conference. Must be signed by sponsor and submitted at least 15 days prior to the workshop.
- Agenda Details-Supplemental Form - Use one for each presentation you think is eligible for CEUs. Include a detailed description of the presentation and a short description of the speaker's qualifications.
- A copy of the agenda or outline of the entire program.
- Copies or descriptions of Powerpoints, DVDs, or other instructional materials used in presentations
- Copies or descriptions of handouts
If you are requesting approval of a workshop that will be held at multiple locations, also fill out Supplemental Form CEUML.
