Taste the Tradition® and Grown with Tradition®
Logo Program
The NEW MEXICO—Taste the Tradition® and NEW MEXICO—Grown with Tradition® Logo Program was developed by NMDA in 2000 in efforts to help identify and promote all New Mexico agricultural products (food, fiber, wine, produce, nuts, nursery products, and livestock) through the use of one, easily recognizable logo. The design of the logo encompasses the uniqueness and timeless traditions of our state's agricultural industry. The goal of this on-going marketing campaign is to influence consumers' purchasing decisions by creating product awareness and loyalty for the locally grown and/or processed products.
Currently, there are over 300 participating companies throughout the state. To learn more about the logo program, or to find out how to become a member, please contact Felicia C. Frost at (575) 646-4929 or tastethetradition@nmda.nmsu.edu.
