The New Mexico Green Chile Promotion continues to be NMDA's largest domestic promotion to date.  Along with the growers and shippers, NMDA marketing staff worked with several retailers around the country to help them market New Mexico's coveted peppers to their customers.  Retailers created store events to generate excitement and sales throughout their stores. 

New Mexico green chile is now available in 2,300 stores throughout 15 states.  Retail sales are estimated at $23,000,000 for the 2010 season.  Plans for the 2011 season include expansion into new east coast markets.
