Our goal is to gain exposure and increase market share for any New Mexico agricultural product that is ready to enter the international arena.  This goal is accomplished by participating in trade shows, conducting market and buyer surveys, culinary seminars, in-bound and out-bound trade missions, and through other combined efforts between marketing specialists and New Mexico producers and processors.

Over the past few years, NMDA has been working hand-in-hand with the New Mexico Pecan Growers' Association to market both in-shell and shelled pecans internationally.  Great strides have been made and market access has been gained into regions such as Europe, the Middle East, China, and Singapore.  Furthermore, pecan sales are expected to grow exponentially in 2008.
